Instructions to make to make Chicken biryani
- Marinate the chicken pieces with salt,turmeric,red chilli Powder and curd,keep aside for 30 mnts
- Boil water in a wide pan,add salt and all the whole masalas except shahi jeera
- Wash the rice and pour into the water
- As the rice becomes par Boiled remove and drain out the water,keep aside
- Now heat oil in the pan add shahi jeera, onion slices saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears
- Now add the Potatoes and chicken fry well.
- Cover it and keep on a low heat, stirring occasionally
- Add tomato puree and saute well adding red chilli Powder
- As the chicken is cooked well add the rice and mix with a light hand
- Drizzle the kesar soked milk and mughlai attar and cover
- In another pan heat ghee and mix the biryani Masala
- Pour this over the biryani
- Chicken biryani is ready to be served with raita
